Welcome to VLMspec.com, the internet home for myself, my friends, our cars and any other part of our lives we want to share. You probably found this page because you were linked to a picture hosted somewhere in the depths of our folders and sub folders.
People often ask me what VLMspec means, there has always been two meanings. First off there was the business name, Van Leuven Motorsport Specialties. This was a awesome time in my life where I built my brainchild from the ground up and ran things how I wanted. It never got huge and I didn't want it to either. With internet and guerrilla marketing efforts from friends and happy customers we kept to our roots and got to be known as a no bullshit operation who would get things done right, often in a pinch. I decided to transition out of that and tackle other goals. The second meaning and the one more true to me personally is wrapped around the word spec, or specification (a technical standard). The VLM is self explanatory, I always ask myself if what I am doing is up to standard. Is it up to standard for quality, my morales, my health, my goals, my responsibilities? Also most definitely is it up to spec for others around me? This goes for everything I do and often what I do rubs off on the people around me. Now you know... | ||||||||
